It is possible that it is a faulty pci socket... or clashing with the onboard sound... Have you unintalled and disabled the onboard sound?
yes i tried it also from the bios and the windows
its not solve the problem
but it's not weird that the sound card work but not as suround card ?
i use ac3filter for hear ac3 sound
It makes me wonder if these aren't fake cards... there were a few about. I am sure you are aware that they are not new... even if they are in a box, they are 5 years old at least!
i know that it's not new.. but it should be useful for my needs.
if you think the card kind is fake you can give me a recommendation for satisfaction and chip card for my needs ? (only movies in suround and music) i'll try to change the card next week by add money
Well for a start get a new one! Cmedia based cards are excellent value and never have a problem with the drivers.
cmedia cards aren't sold very much you sure about those cards ?
what do you say about the "Creative Audigy Value" ?
I say it's creative.... and probably oem. If it's the oem version, I wouldn't say much.
If it's the original audigy it's old again too. Creative provide no support whatsoever with their oem cards. There are thousands of people who lose the drivers and never get the card to work.
You might want to private message hiphoper and gabriel, there are in your part of the world and might be able to advise you better on a local purchase
it appears here :
http://ae.creative.com/products/welc...asp?category=1
also the sb 5.1.. it's seems to be new one ..:| maybe i wrong ?
Not sure...
If you want to try something radical, backup then format your pc with the creative card in... make sure the onboard is definetely off, install windows, then the chipset drivers, then the creative drivers... it will prove whether the card is faulty.
i tried it week ago..the best solution is to change the card in the shop to better card.. you can give me specific card what to buy?
No, since you are not in the same country... as I said before, private message hiphoper or gabriel on this board - they will have useful info for you.
ok thanks alot for your help !
