I would back up your files and restore to factory defaults, if this is 8 weeks old and it already has a virus, no telling what else has screwed up.

Windows Live OneCare after Norton Antivirus 2009 allowed the virus into my PC!
Which virus was it?
Alureon.C & Alureon.BJ
I downloaded 'Trojan Remover' from http://www.simplysup.com/
Ran it, rebooted, and hey presto....

Looks like that was the problem all along :thumbs:
Glad it's fixed. Norton should have got those two viruses. Onecare I believe is being phased out.
Do you rate Kaspersky?
Like all of them slows the boot and shutdown time down, but does a good job on my daughter's uni computer.
