um does the bank charge a fee to do transactions. because I have no money left. I tried withdrawing 200 dollars but it withdrawed everything. then I tryed depositing everything and it worked but when I tried withdrawing just 50 dollars it showed me that I had $50 in hand but nothing in the bank. and when I redeposited it again it disapear totaly. So I have no more money :(
Also you may want to add to the code in the King Arthurs Weapons to prevent you from buying a weapon until you sell your old weapon.
You also are missing a check to see how much money is left in your bank account. I had zero in my account and withdrew $400,000,000 and went and bought myself a Death Sword! :eek: My account shows -$400,000,000 but I don't mind. :D
Ok I resettd the databse, try making a new user acount and try again.
I added somthings to the signup sheet
works better no disapearing money. but still can over withdraw, and over deposit. (but It shows up in the negtives and stays there)

acually if you put a limit on it you could have the bank give out loans that the player will have to pay it back.

K I think I fixed the bank problem.
I can't take any money out of the bank that I don't have, so that is good. However I noticed that if I go to the inn and try to get a room, I get two buttons that don't do anything and no way out!

Well I got flirting with vilot about 80% done all is left are the checks and the insert into the user database

yeah getting it done pretty good. ehhe thing is trying to think how to do it before coding it LOL the messaging is really only 6 lines of code two and a 3 feild table in the mysql database

AHHA yeah still working onit, I dont have it to the point were it saves it to the database and make it so you can only flirt once a day :(
Im having a problem with IE 6.0 with the updates on it. When ever you delete a message then go back to the town you have to refresh to get it to go away. But for older IE 6.0 and below works fine theres no problem.

I was going to say I have IE5.5sp2 installed and I have not had any problems deleting messages yet. Will the game work with a different browser?

yeah should work with any browser that has cookie support
k, I got alot done to the game you can now flirt with violet and get charm. Theres some other goodies like the mail, announcments, Converse with the patrons and more
Looking very good. I see that you got the flirt with Violet working, and You can only flirt with her once a day :( . :D :D
in the inn you have the text that looks to be links in the future, like Daily News, View Your Stats, Make Announcment. Will these future links be different from the links on the home page. or will they be just a shortcut to the current pages?
I see a problem with the messaging. you have to take sure that you type your message in one minute because when ever the page reloads you lose the text that you have typed.
also it looks like the message are not being sorted correctly. my message at 10:53 looks to be in the wrong spot.
and I landed up sending a message to the Ye Old Bank. if you can you might want to disallow messages to be sent to the bank.
Is the bank supposed to add gold to your account over time. On Friday I had $200 in the bank, by this morning it had grown to $700. That's some hella good interest! :eek:

yeah still working on the forest. You can see it generating numbers. Then it may hit a certain number and text appears. Im trying to get the speacial options (hidden quests) working
