Answer: Yes, subzero is NOW trying to address this through Private Email. Which he should have done in the VERY beginning with DW. Which he shoul dhave done later with me and Curt. Which he should have done later still. Which he should have done yesterday.

How simple it would have been for him to PM curt at the other forum, or email him, requesting that he be given access to the forum. KNowing curt, he would have asked us, those that were invloved, what our thoughts would have been. Who knows, more than likely I would have been the sole voice against him joining. Maybe I would have kept my mouth shut and let him join? We'll never know, becuase he chose to come in, and chose to have his cronies come in using fake names.

There is a pattern to Ron's actions. First he comes out with both fists flying. Then when he realizes he's got the attention, but not the attention that caters to him, he backs off trying to retreat into Subzero the Super Mod. Then he drops back into the PM Man and tries to hide it away. To what purpose does all of this serve?

Why bother us? That is what I want to know.

Here is an anology most of you will find amusing:

A group of kids are playing with a ball. One kid stand up and says it's his ball and he doesn't like the way we play so he takes the ball and leaves. The remaining group of kids wander off, finding a new ball. now the lone kid sees the other kids having fun with the new ball. So here he comes, trying to steal the new ball, trying to cause more problems...Why? To what end?

What started the whole thing was wrong. As far as I'm concerned, because of it, Windrives lost quite a few good people over it. Should it have been aired out @ Windrives? No. Who brought it into Windrives where it didn't belong? DubNero. Did it cause a rift in the forum leading to the loss of good people? Yes. Who is @ fault? DubNero.

But really, if he has been blocked for the other forum, let the issue stay there. Has he admitted his wrong-ness with the situation here? No. Is the matter unresolved? Yes. Should it be resolved here? Yes.

Even though Lycia might have started this over what happend on the other forum, it is an issue of this forum that needs to be addressed and resolved and put behind all of us for the benefit of everyone who remains here.

And yes you do have a point, if a mod was to go off and hit kiddie porn sites while advertising the site he was modding on I believe that would be in the interest of the Site owner...but that's not what happened here...he went where he wasn't wanted and got what was expected under the circumstance.

Yes akuma it may be an issue, but it started in a closed forum, and if it needs to be addressed then it needs to be addressed by those involved privately and it shouldn't be resolved here in public. It isn't going to be resolved all that's going to happen is more bad blood.

I can't comment on this as I am not sure what was done and to who.
I am only commenting and trying to bring to reason that this issue should be resolved outside the public eye and away from the general population. And going about it publicly will only polarize people and result in yet more bad blood and certainly is not grand publicity for WD.

Well - since most people use similar passwords for multiple sites and he had/has access to the passwords here - it does behoove us to let people know that he may be using those passwords against them or others. Not that I'm saying he has, but it's best to be safe than sorry. :(

How can you respect him as a mod knowing that 1, he attacked another user, 2. he commits hate crimes based sexual preferance against another user, and 3 generally abusing his power as a mod?

Yes bad publicity. I don't mind that, Especially since Scott has chosen to not comment, to not offer any apology for his lack of action or for his agent's actions against me specificly or against other users.

Apoligy accecpted. I didn't want to really get "involved", I just had a few questions, as I was having some difficulties understanding everything that was being said. And I also suppose that now that this has been brought into the public eye, everyone who reads this thread is now involved in some fashon. In keeping with your highschool analogys, if there's a fist fight in the scool parking lot after school one day, and everyone crowds around to watch, is it any better if that fight had happened with no one around? Is everyone who witnessed the fight involved? Would the fight have been settled better/quicker/easier/more efficiently if that fight had not taken place in the school parking lot? I don't know, but it is something interesting to ponder.

The "other place" is another web site yeah, i know - real specific - sorry). About every 6 months or so another alternate place to post pops up. Don't sweat it if you don't know. It's Curt's site and he put up a forum for people that I assumed he was inviting. I don't think his intention was to draw anyone from here and his site is much like the steam room was here. A place to blow off steam and chill away from the users and whatnot.

You're right -this is dumb. It's been going on since a while back and it's prolly not gonna end soon. I'd like to just ignore it all and as of now, I think I will go back to tech stuff and being nice.
