Well that doesn't actually matter. Nobody is really better or worse in this game. If one character is at least 5 levels above you, then you can be "sidekicked" and play at that persons level. The only catch is that you wouldn't have as many powers as you should. But you'll be ok.

Plus you'll discover that you won't necessarily even need to play with only people you know. You can team with anyone and level up very quickly. It's just unlimited possibilities. You'll dig it, you'll see.

LOL. Yeah thats what I thought it would be like to. The way it works is that you team up with 1 or more characters. One of the characters activates a "sidekick" mode. That means you will be equal in terms of "level". So as long as you don't stray too far from the person who sidekicked you, then you won't even notice.
