Trip went about it totally the wrong way. You call people a bunch of feckers and low-lifes and constantly question their intelligence what do you expect their reaction to be? In my book he is a complete a55.

I respect docpc and I also respect the way he went about asking us to knock our **** off. Despite my desires to push RRR completely over the edge, I will tone it down a bit. Can't speak for the rest of Corba's minions tho.

It was a fun interesting week here, yeah feelings got hurt, but other then Spork, Precious, Spork's GF, and teh Seeker, was anyone else hurt? Hell, spork and his gf were hurt more then Precious, hopefully they will all figure their **** out and be stronger, and hopefully something good will come out of it.

For the record, many, mnay others have brought their relationship lives and woes here, this is the first that just turned itno a massive game. Hell, even when the ex and I split and I moved out, a year ago exactly, I brought it all here. Whoopee.

In the end, we will have had a week no one will forget, hopefully two new players to my lounge in the Precious and Seeker, hopefully Spork has some stuff cleaned up and we all go on...

As the American members here often don't remember, we aren't the only ones here and we aren't all that matters, so are there also different age brackets with different views on what is important...

Check topics started by me: very rarely have I been childlike, even though I would think many of us may enjoy being childlike at times as we grow older. Over 3300 posts and I do more than occasional helping on tech queries (thank you -ed).
And, I was attacked by you back when you checked back in for the first time in weeks (seemingly en-masse with all the others), and I pointed it to both you and you know who within threads, but yes, publicly...so my bad/your bad. Yes indeed: out of the blue. I said things AFTER things were said to me, btw, and just look how you flip the script. Hence: the one thread I did start, and then another I deleted. And one last week decrying all the political fighting, where you again flamed me. And I am the *** for flaming back? You just said "what would you expect", well flip that script, too.
Push me over the edge? Is that a threat, or just more cheese?

Indeed don't read the damn things .. however some of us don't like to see various other members having a 'poke' at mods & other members because of some teen love crisis, which somehow or other settled in our midst.

None of this was helped by Noo's 'not here-ness' & only occasional visits (exam week), & various folks knowing damn well what the circumstances are, took advantage of this for 'fun' .. but as with all things WD that snowballed pretty quick into various bits of accusation & conspiracy theory by previously un-involved folks, which in turn brought yet more folks into it, which like a game of chinese whispers soon turned into a whole different ball game, thats what I'm miffed about, luckily she was able to sort the other one (techs & jaxson) with a temporary ban, but this 'lesbo love jealousy triangle thingee' howver was a lot less simple to sort out & so had to run on a bit unfortunately,(doubts about evidence !) but now when we see 'the whole story' we discover the whole thing could have been wrapped up two or three or maybe even four days ago, yet some folks are still at it kissing butt as the girlies have cunningly posted pictures of themselves to distract the dudes who think with their small heads ..

Trip btw has got sfa to do with what Doc & I are getting at, he's just an easy target because of what has happened previously, & I think he knows damn well he bit back at what at the time he thought was real too & over-reacted ;)

Edit:

I see trip has decided to answer for himself while I've been composing & doing a tech querey, however I still think my little asside is valid.

If certain other members hadn't made suitable 'acidic' comments at various times I can assure you things would only have gotten worse - its like a damn playground in here normally, never mind having some real kids come & play too ..

OKAY.

No one is going to get 100% acceptance from 100% of the members here on what they post. I am sure that that is a given.

So where is the problem? As I look around in the "Technical" section of the Windrivers Forums, I see that many of us actually dispense pretty good advice on a wide variety of technical issues.

So as I see it, some "underage partyers" had a few too many in here and it took a while to clean up the mess. Sort of like bars where Cleetus lives. Sometimes things just get out of hand for a bit. Things always seem to get back to normal, though.

I am sure they will get back to "normal" in this lounge too.

This is a tech site, not teen therapy, if a grown up without some pretty teen shots turned up & caused this much pooh, I think you might be equally critical, I ain't mad with 'them' particularly (other than whichever one could have cleared this up much earlier), more other folks who should know a whole load better.

Yet when I pointed out that NooNoo in fact endorsed it at the beginning, I was labeled the a-hole for being mean to her when I simply was pointing this out. And funny how when there was an actual finger pointed, the ENTIRE community came to sporks aid.

Personally I think the whole thing says massive volumes about this community that you and some others are missing. We came to the aid of the new user, whether it was female or not, even though it never really happened for Inferono with the exception of Ya_know and I. More people were worried about who it wasn't then who it was. That finger was pointed, and we reached out and defended our own. We knew deep down. So then it turned out to be a prank gone wrong by some young girls(not teens). Things got sorted, Precious is now a part of us hopefully bringing new blood. I pray Spork and GF can sort this out, and grow stronger, if not, he does now know what kind of community support he has. Maybe, we will even now have the new added blood of a repentent Seeker with whose aid we might not have found this out when we did.

So yeah, I am a schmuck, I am crass, but damnit, I can at least find some silver lining in every cloud with out having to always find some blame.

I don't care how old they said they were, I think "teen" is appropriate sarcasm in this case. I don't know about the "lesbo" comment, yes that may been a bit harsh. -ed may have to explain that if you insist.

FYI I have defended Inferno_gn aka Julie_on_drugs (me being the one that came up with that after a particularly stupid lot of comments -which he accepted) at various points, since he now admits he does it on purpose to take the piss he needs no defence does he ?

& I never said a damn word about spork or whoever the hell he is, because before this I never even noticed him, maybe I busy answering tech queries instead of being in here answering your pooh ..

If you want to give someone a hard time about something, look to yourself & your recent comments at Noo, however this has turned out, I for one can see why she played it this way as there was considerable doubt (might still be in certain quarters).

Oh, I had some words in PM with her, now if I don't fall all over myself like everyone else here to suck up, I am being mean, esp if I just treat her the same as everyone else. Not being mean, and honestly, I think I am showing more respect for not holding back punches and being a yes man. But that doesn't seem to fly here. There were never any harsh words in that direction since those pm's 2 months ago.
