OK....

If we're talking real absinthe, it's LSD based and is an hallucenagen. Most bars here limit people to 2/3 shots a night because of it's effects. Some people will just get drunk, others will really go off on one (been there as a bouncer on a group of 6 blokes overdoing it on that stuff).

Now, personally, I used to have a drugs problem, the one time I did absinthe was when I'd been clean, and virtually t-total for about 6 months. Basically, I tripped out, in a big bad way.

But then, if we're talking the stuff that's called absinthe, but is really pernod, disregard what I just said.
