I have met porn actors/actresses before (I was invlved in distribution, if you recall, in a former life).
Out of those who make it to "stardom" status, I would say about 5000 others just get used and tossed aside.
Aside from the drugs, alcohol abuse, suicidal tendencies, emotional dependencies, STD risks, they're ... well... not in really good shape after a few years of that. :(
