1. Adept boasted about reaching 13000 with a countdown that was almost screaming to be ambushed.

4. Inept told everyone off.
5. Thread deletion right removed.

6. Adept just came back.

Why bring up the "tantrum"? Is that your problem with him? If so, let's not forget that it was taken out on me. And, if you disagree with that, then thanks for the support. But: what about adept's issue? Why flip the script and make it look like it's his fault? That I don't get!
I suppose that when you get right down to it, this was all about post padding, and the sudden "popularity" of teh Way. I somehow had a feeling it would do this to the board. And, I don't think it is right. And, the countdown was "lame" and I called it that. And, it continues to this day and it is still lame.
But, adept was "made an example of" here, and I can understand his feelings of being hurt. After all, this was the second time. Tell me that you can't understand that? And, to top it all off, apologies were never made, but instead, insults were thrown his way. That was not right.
So, why not talk about the issues that brought this problem to its head, instead of obfuscation? After all, if this is not dealt with in a mature way, we will have lost another good member, if not more than one. THAT I don't want to see.

The point is, that it was just a little fun, Adept stood up to the brunt the first time rather well, and we all had fun with the whole thing, 3000 posts, and what, two weeks later, expecting some of the same fun.
Instead we got Adept, you, Inept, Granddad, and anyone else that felt “compelled” enough to bring it up, calling it disrespectful and demeaning, and all of the crap that it wasn't.
Nothing needs to be addressed; no apologies need to be made. It was a practical joke, Adept, we "thought" was man enough, apparently not, and the rest of you patted away his tears.
In the end, someone got the rules changed so we will never go down that road again. It was stupid that we were able to delete threads on our own anyway and it’s about time it got corrected! Hell, if you want it perfect, we shouldn't be able to delete posts either, or for that matter, be able to edit a post. Once it’s said, it should stick. Are you, and any of the other sulkers man enough to comply to those rules??? If so, cool, I am game. You_know why? Because I don’t put that much weight on what happens around here. If it changes…STFW.
