I read the beginning..... bit late ...
I don't often post help here, cos the languages I used to program in have long since gone, APL, BASIC, FOCUS, etc. since I retired.
Windows ... I wouldn't know how to program a button.
I think I might have posted one or two answers about printers.
But it's on the of the greatest sites I've seen, people are so helpful and stick at it until an answer is found or until the person asking throws a hammer at the screen....

Whoa, dude! Why not just set it to the correct paper size and break the knob off! :rolleyes:
I had an idea just as I was logging off. Tell them you will "rent" them paper trays, "preloaded" with the correct paper and "preset" to the proper size, which will be labeled on the front of the tray in large, friendly letters. That way, they only have to insert the correct tray for the print job. When the preloaded tary runs out of paper, they call you and you replace it with another, for a healthy fee of course. :p
