It would appear that the milk would contain more Kahlua than the Kahlua would contain milk because in the second pouring, the mixture is no longer pure.

Or..it was full of liquid and he put something in that weighed less causing the liquid to overflow on the ground.

If it takes Sandy 3 hours to paint a fence, and it takes Claude 6 hours to complete the same job, how long would it take both of them working together at their normal paces to paint that same fence?

In one hour, Sandy can paint 1/3, or 2/6, of the fence. In that same hour, Claude, lazy as he is, can paint 1/6 of the fence. So, in one hour, they can paint 3/6, or 1/2 of the fence together. After two hours, the fence is done.
