You can contact FedEx and ask to talk to the chief operations manager for your area and explain the importance of your package. I had a package I explicitly announced to the shipper and the shipping company that I needed it drop shipped as there was no possible way to have a signer present at the office. They ignored my request and made a package that was needed immediately into a "come when you can and pick it up from us" project which was even more impossible. I explained the situation and how important it was while also filing a complaint. Needless to say they made arrangements for one of two things for me. I could have a relative that was in the area pick it up or I could have them make a special return visit for no extra cost when I could be there though it would be the following day. I was only lucky enough to have someone related to me that lived near that shipping office and that's why it was one of my options.

Knowing RGHarper's visits.. you would be better off putting that in PM Niclo.

On the car issue I just take it to my shop indoors with heater:) My trade
I have to work on air to air Heat pumps, and at 25 degrees it is very cold trying to figure out what is wrong, while it maybe running blowing more COLD on you.

Noo, I'm pretty disciplined about filing or shredding as I go, so I don't have the piles to deal with. Of course, a high-fiber diet helps, too.

True! When aren't I strapped for cash? I need a more steady flow of work. Wish my boss would let me do remote access for fixing viral issues and software problems. I could get more work done since I wouldn't be wasting time traveling to clients (I don't get compensated for travel time and it takes up 30-50% of my time each day)

For some reason even though I'm pale as a ghost and don't go out in the sun much I don't burn I just freckle like crazy. Must be the latino genes kicking in on that part though you'd think my irish side would say let the sun burn me to a crisp.

I did manage some very rough'n'ready bass guitar many years ago, but no, I can't claim to play guitar. Keyboards & saxophone pulls me up.

I think the next poster doesn't like the automatic aerosol room fresheners that are being promoted a lot nowadays.

I prefer diffusion rods. However a funny story comes to mind. My step dad would say he doesn't like them at all. My mom on a quest to freshen the house decided to buy some of these automatic fresheners and put them in the bathrooms. She put one on top of a shelf above the toilet. For her it was way above the head a perfect place to put a freshener. Thing is for her 5'5" frame that isn't too high. My step dad being a lovely 6'8" individual discovered her placement of said freshener in the wee hours of the morning when he was suddenly maced while doing his morning pee.
