Last night was great for me. Leveled and got a cape, and at the dance club some high level guy gave 9999 inf to the 1st 10 people he saw in the club.
I got to be the light show too, my "hotfoot" looks great in the air.

Sorry guys. Didn't make it tonight. I have another machine plugged in, being set up where my machine usually sits (time for me to get a KVM switch I guess). My poor P4 is sitting over there in the corner while I work on this other P3. Meanwhile I am doing all my other business on my trusty laptop. Anyway,.. I should be on again soon (I'm shootin for maybe tomorrow, but definitely Saturday morning). In the meantime, you guys should take this opportunity to lvl up as quickly as possible. :thumbs:

Recommendations:
Bring a bubble defender, they can protect the reactor quite well.
Bring a healer, you will need them.
Bring some melee types, preferably 2-3 of tankers and/or scrappers.
Apparently, once you reach the curving hallway with the proxy bombs, you have 15 minutes to get to the reactor, otherwise the baddies will show up without you.
Try to keep the level spread to a minimum, or make sure you have enough higher level toons to SK the lower levels.
Make sure you have some damage dealers, as you need to take enemies down somewhat quickly. Some spawns were 3 levels higher than our biggest, so be ready for a marathon, especially in the reactor room.
btw, Bomb Jack (lv16) is now looking for an SG. he's a kin/rad defender, pool powers: tp ally,foe,self. medicine:heal other.
2 healing powers on this one, and he's yours for nothin'! (well, almost nothin')
Yeah,... and most important, be on a team that is organized and uses strategy. I did this a week or so ago and the team seemed like they were trying to do the right thing,.. but they were so unorganized and had very little communication. As a result, people died often. At one point,.. I was the only one alive, run, blast, run, blast, and kept doing that until the others had a chance to rev and rest. I barely made it. We did not finish the mission. That was hell. I can't wait until PoW gets up to around lvl 24ish or so, so that we can do this. It's almost time. :)Quote:

My presence on Protector this weekend will be very similar to the one on WinDrivers these days: sporadic, short and unreliable so don't plan anything special just for me. If I play any characters it will be Fracas (11) and/or Grim (9?) as they're pretty much the ones I can solo with.
I feel bad about Diver's blaster getting maimed last night. I owe you one bud. Thanks to ILTU also for going along with this. Made my day to see that this SG is all about watching out for each other.
Yet I have ambivalent feelings about the Trickster event - wish we could have brought him to Dark Astoria first before dropping him, and also feel bad about going all vigilante on him like that.
