It would be a good thing to have an invisible character on this one. I went up like 6 bars at least. I'm donw even if we don't finish just for the XP. All freaks are lvl 26 so we need RB to beat and SK and Stale to get beat on. Healer is a must.
Yeah, that was bada**. I got about 7 bars total for half a TF.Quote:

Twood be good to have the military helmet and stuff, but the helmet is not required. Mainly the cammies and guns are most important. Also,.. the type of powers you have will be considered. I.e. You don't see too many energy blasters in the military. Guns and natural abilities are the way to go. And the uniform would have to match the powers. I.e. A Defender might wear "whites" with a red cross or something to symobilize being a medic.Quote:

Btw,.. the unform colors I chose are like a dark green and a darkish amber. Looks like real camo colors. The SG colors are black and white. Works well for street fighting. The natural colored cammies are good for forest/grass hunting. (yes,.. I'm getting waaaay into this I know). :D
Hey, I wear a cowboy had and I'll decide later if I want to wear a damn shirt or jacket jackass so if you don't want to end up as a gutpile on my livingroom floor you'll either deal with it kick me off the damn team. I'm out to hunt/shoot/kill/collect heads, and that's about it.Quote:

I'm on as soon as I can with Stalemate tomorrow! Which should be about 6:30PM EDT. I'll just catch up on some XP while I wait, as I have 4 levels to go until 27. ;)
Not gonna be on until maybe Sunday night after that.
Wow,.. I almost had a heart attack. At first I thought you meant that you only had 4 bubbles to go until you hit 27 and I thought,.. "How the heck did he lvl up so fast?". Well cool. :cool:Quote:

Sounds like something that would be cool to dream about doing to some members, eh?Quote:

LOL. That Stalemate does take a beating. But don't feel bad. Stalemate is a lot more effective than you think. I totally know how you feel though. I went through it when I had MotorBreath (scrapper). Every team I was on had like 30 blasters, a healer, and me. And I felt like I wasn't contributing much because those blasters just dished out the heavy damage. But the thing is,.. I was adding a lot more than I thought. I was keeping the baddies off the blasters. The weak part about being a blaster is how easily they are damaged. Blasters dish it out, but basically can't take it.
Anyway,... Tankers do an even better job of keeping the mob off the blasters (even without "taunt" or other aggro powers). Villains are naturally drawn to tankers (and thank goodness cuz I'd be dead otherwise). :D
The Paragon City Department of Defense is pretty friggin awesome! I am definitely impressed with this group so far. I can wait to start doing some missions and stuff and to recruit some more heads. I guess I'll just have to keep broadcasting.
Btw,.. is there anything Bomb Jack CAN'T do? Man,.. he does it all. Super Speed, heal, Teleport, laser beams attached to his head, some kind of zap thing that makes the villains get all funktified, etc. :D
lmao...yah, he's been conceived as a team player, not much dam. but a lot of help, kinda like aumakua. ain't much on his own, but very effective as a team player. he also is a lv16 toon, which helps a lot ;)Quote:

Well,.. if you Epts need to do it at 7pm,.. then go for it. I won't be along until 6pm pst (9pm est). But this TF should be enough to get you guys all lvled and then we'll be really close to ready for the respec trials.
In the meantime,.. I'm going to try and get GI Jim caught up to Bomb Jacks lvl. :D
Best thing would be for Stalemate to hunt with 1-2 damage dealers until 9PM, at which time we can start the TF.
Hopefully he'll be up a level by then. ;)
Cool. If you guys wait until 9pm est,.. then I'll be around for the TF. But please,.. if you guys need to do it earlier, by all means do so. I don't want to hold up the group. The 3 hour time difference is huge and I definitely understand that. :)
All I want is XP.
Me too. Well that, and of course posts to pad my post count.
+1

Take Aumakua. He has zero offense and I rely solely on others and can never solo (never could). He's got one purpose, to hold baddies in place and to buff and debuff. The tank is similar in that you are to draw the attention of the bad guys.
In your case you didn't take taunt but you can still go rather invulnerable and can hit a lot. If you want to draw attention, just hit all the baddies. Don't concentrate on 1 guy at a time like a blaster, hit anyone you can and keep an eye on the others to see who's getting aggroed on (I'm sure this is pretty tough esp. with all the bosses now). But, when you hit a bunch of guys they will aggro on you and stick on you until a blaster can hose them or I can controll them.
Once respec hits, grab a nice amount of invulnerability, taunt, fitness, jumping and just the attacks that you need. I can't wait to get miss dynamo respected. She needs some different powers believe you me.
Sooooo, TF tonight right??
oh yeah, def ! we can hunt or do mishes till the RB shows up. then TF for as long as we can hold out. midnight is the latest i can go tonight, taking my youngest son early in the morning.
as for the Stalemate power choosing stalemate, if it wasn't for the tank, death would be knocking on blasters door every time they blasted. (of course some seem to accomplish this even with tankers ;) ) the Major feels very much secure when a tanker or scrapper hits the mob. you gotta respect the toughness of a tanker, it's just stupid tough!
btw, heard of a certain Trooper Sam looking for a military unit, maybe u should look him up webby!
