Those programs are useless. Without a doubt, www.irfanview.com is the best image viewer/editor out there. Opens just about any image type known to man, crops, change colour depth, rotate, contrast, brightness, etc. etc. AND IT'S FREEWARE AND ONLY 400K. I have been using it since 1995 and it just keeps getting better.

I'll agree with the Big Mac. It's a great little program, although it might be a bit bigger than 400K. When everyone keeps saying upload, where are they uploading these things to?

I think kingtbone was asking if the avatars are being loaded onto a server Windrivers maintains, or do they just go to la-la land.

I have yet to spot any custom avatar for a user with a {space} in the name (e.g. IT Len, Lt. Cmdr Klarg) I think that may be the explanation for these two.

I'm getting a message that the file IT_Len.gif "already exists." When I try to upload without the space [remembering to get the case right], I get an error message that tells me it has to be in the above mentioned format, up to and including the underscore.

I'm assuming Lt.Com Klarg and I have the same problem here. I've PM'd WD for assistance.
