If you attacked the nun because she was stealing, that's chaotic good.
If you reported her because she was stealing, that's lawful good.
If you reported her for the reward money, that's lawful evil.
If you attacked her for the fun of it, that's chaotic evil.

Rastlin Was Chaotic Neutral in the first three books, he wore red robes. It's not until he became Fizdamndentalus (sp) that he became evil. Although when he dreamed he was always in black robes.Quote:

I'm not sure if Raistlin would be Chaotic Evil or not. Evil, certainly. But there was a method to his madness.
They never explained what he was, although I think he may have been Neutral to Neutral evil. He did have a plan but he also never really cared about anyone unless it meant his untimly death or loosing out on magic.Quote:

Lawful Good: Believe that an orderly, strong society with a moral gov't can
work to make life better for the majority of the people. When people respect the laws and
help one another, society prospers. Strive to bring the greatest benefit to the most people and cause the least harm. Lawful good characters keep their word.
Neutral Good: Believe that a balance of forces is important, but the concerns of law and chaos do not moderate the need for good. To them, the universe is full of many beings striving for different goals; a determined pursuit of good will not upset the balance - it may even maintain it. If helping good can be reached by supporting organized society, that is what must be done. If good can only be reached through the the overthrow of (an) existing social order, so be it. Social structure itself has no value to them.
Chaotic Good: They are strong individualists marked by a streak of kindness and benevolence. They believe in all the virtures of good, but have little use for laws and regulations. They also have not use for people who "try to push folk around and tell them what to do." Their actions are based off of their own moral beliefs which, often good, may not be in perfect agreement with the rest of society.
Lawful Neutral: Order and organization are important to these types of people. They believe in a strong, well-ordered gov't, whether it be a democracy or tyranny. Laws, to them, must be created and obeyed. Order and organization far outweigh any moral questions raised by their actions. An oath is binding, regardless of consequeces. A soldier who obeys without question, is someone who is lawful neutral.
(True) Neutral: Believe in the ultimate balance of forces, and they refuse to see any of their actions as good or evil. These people do their best to avoid sides in a conflict, good or evil, law or chaos. It is their job to see that all of these forces remain balanced. Typically, they side with the underdog in a conflict, but they can sometimes change sides as the previous loser becomes the winner; finding themselves in rather peculiar alliances.
Chaotic Neutral: "Completely random" is a good adjective for these characters. They believe that there is no order to anything, including their own actions. With this as their guiding principle, they tend to follow whatever feeling strikes them at the moment. They can be extremely difficult to deal with and can be extremely unreliable. A gambler who keeps betting, for no apparent reason, even after losing for a long while, is someone who is chaotic neutral.
Lawful Evil: These people belive that order and organization help people who deserve to rule. They prfer a clearly defined hierarchy between master and servant. If someone is hurt by a law that helps them, sucks to be them. These people obey laws out of fear and/or pride of power. Being lawful means they must stick true their words and because of that, they are careful about giving their word. Once given, they will only break their word if they can find a way to do it legally within the laws of the society.
Neutral Evil: They are primarily concerned with themselves and their advancement. Their only interest is to get ahead in society. If there is a way to gain a profit, whether it is legal, questionable, or illegal, they will take advantage of it. They are quite receptive of bribes from anyone.
Chaotic Evil: They are motivated by the desire for personal gain and pleasure. The strong have the right to take what they want and the weak are there to be exploited. These people are not motivated by a desire to cooperate when put together, but rather to oppose powerful enemies or advisaries. To them leadership is based on raw power and a leader is to be replaced by the first sign of weakness by anyone who can take his position by any method.

I think Paco's post clears it up. Everyone in Evil, Inc. is Chaotic Evil, and we all work together for a common goal. I am the leader, because of my raw power, and I will never be replaced, because I have no weaknesses. :D
RL I'm likely Chaotic Good. In actual gammeplay i have a paladin and an anti-paladin (LG and CE). Oddly enough the ONE CG character in our party can't use my anti-paladin's shortsword (+2, +10 VS Women & Children) :)
I would have to say that I tend more towared the neutral side of things.
Neutral Good druid/magic user...in the game AND in real life. Don't mess with me or I'll sic the nearest tree on you. :D
What about Hooters girls and Beer, those are like kriptonite to you sir. I've seen you loose all train of thought when ever Hooters is metioned.Quote:

I think I like Chaotic Good. Society is all messed up, and I need to rely on my own moral system to keep me on the right path. Basically, I do what I think is right, to h*ll with society.
