Um.. what does that make in other currencies?..
Ok, so let's see. I figured that by making 10.50 and hour, for an 8 hour workday, and 40 hours a week, and 52 weeks a year....I'm making about 21,840 a year. That's pretty damn bad. To make 37,000 a year, I'd have to be making around 17.00 an hour. I highly doubt they'll give me a 6.50 raise. Last year all I got was .50 cents. :( :( :(

****! I work desktop support and I pull in right around $40K/year ($23.00/hr. I think?). By looking at salary.com, I'm still getting shafted. But after hearing the kind of pay you guys are getting, I don't feel so bad. Sorry.
 :(
i make 11 dollers an hour. i wish i can make more money :(
i wasnt even given a raise this year pretty much in nice words they told me my performance sucked :(
I'm simply underpaid for the stress and skills i have... Time for me to move on.

Before you consider working for CompUSA, you should read [http://forums.windrivers.com/cgi-bin/forum3/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=47&t=000064#000000]this story[/URL].</strong><hr></blockquote>
I just read that moments ago. That's kinda scary. I'll probably just go for Home Depot though anyway. I think it might be a fun change of work while I get though the rest of school.
hey webby i might ..(HOPEFULLY) work for home depot. my job is to dam far and i want go back to school around my area. so im going to see if i can get hired at the home depot by my house.
or the other job i might be going for is a plumber and i would be an apprentise for four years, but i can go to school at night. my current work schedule is not flexible at all.
so at the moment im looking for something else closer. hopefully i'll have luck, so far i havent had any luck.
if i do get another job non pc realted, the good thing is i wont have to look at a monitor screen for 8 hours, its starting to bother my eyes and my vision starts to suck.
Webby, I think you'll like it at Home Depot. A good buddy of mine had a job there, and he was getting paid pretty well considering he had no qualifications. He said he really liked the work environment, and was pretty happy there. Unfortunally he has problems sustaining a constant job, and he left without notice one day, and ended up getting a job at Best Buy. He's sorry he ever left HD. Let me know how things go there!
Now I am ticked, I just found that I should be getting allot more!!!
