cars all the way. The smaller the better. My first car was a mazda 626..but it died. then i had a geo metro..i loved that car. it was small and didnt go very fast, but it was fun to drive....like a go kart. but i got a job where alot more traveling was involved and wanted something a little newer. so i bought a brand new 2000 Neon. and I absolutely love it. it took me a while to adjust the driving a bigger car again, but i couldnt be happer with this car. it runs well, it handles pretty good, gets decent gas mileage. has enough room to seat 4 adults fairly comfortably.
now i just wish i had enough $$$ for the new Neon SRT-4...i stopped and looked at one the other day...man do i love those things. they look so much more manly. but..i will have to wait until i get this one paid off :(
Here's mine

That is one sweet red x you are driving, what year is it?
2002 Pontiac Montana Minivan.
Hated it when we first got it (coming from an Acura 3.2TL) but I'm used to it now. It's very comfortable on long trips or going to the drive-in. It really won me over when I did a 10 pc small network install at small business. Everything fit in it in one shot. I didn't have to rent a uhaul. My wife loves the thing. Next summer I'm picking up either GTI or a motorcycle so she can have the van 24/7.
LOL i said the same thing about my brothers metro, its like a go kart that can hit 80, downhill of courseQuote:

I've found a wagon an excellent compromise to combine some load-carrying capacity with car-like comfort;

but mine's blue with a different grille.
Man, driving a pos ford and a diesel at that. :grin:Quote:

Plus, guys driving diesels have to wait in line. Most gas stations around here only have one or two diesel pumps. One clown even tried chewing me out because I was taking up space next to "his" diesel pump...something about being inconsiderate. Needless to say, I slowed down what I was doing and ended up taking a whole bunch of time. Maybe next time, this clown will think again before buying a stinking diesel.
And oh yeah, those ford suv's are the ugliest things on the road.
I drive a 98 Dodge Ram Van...a full-sized van with a .318 V8...no stinking mini-vans for me! I've got over 210,000 miles and still going strong.
hey now, don't go knocking my diesels. i'd take a ford diesel pickup in a heartbeat. can't beat a ford truck. i know diesels stink and are loud, but my 7.3 powerstroke gets 19 mpg and up here in WA diesel is .20 cents cheaper than gas. its a tank, it'll pull and haul anything.
Amen.Quote:

If I'm on more than two wheels, its a truck. '97 dodge RAM here. I like the road clearance and visibility. It's nice having that extra cargo capacity and, just in case I ever get run in to I like having lots of steel between me and whatever runs in to me. (for some reason that logic doesn't apply to my motorcycle decisions :confused: )
