That's all we need. I don't trust MTV's perception of what the real world to looks like. :D

I personally don't think any thing can get as biased as those tickers on HEadline news. 8 words saying there is a fire in this state, 10 words saying that someone just died, 9 words earthquake in Guam. This damn bias has got to stop. And don't even get me started on CNN's stock ticker.

MTV just called me last night! They were doing a survey about the war. A couple of the questions definitely seemed loaded.

MTV - "Tell me if your feelings about the following countries are very positive, positive, neutral, negative, or very negative."

Me - OK

MTV - Iraq

Me - What do you mean?

MTV - How do you feel about Iraq?

Me - Do you mean right now or when we're done? Do I feel positive about Sadam or the people that live there?

MTV - I don't really know. But how do you feel.

Me - Your question doesn't make sense. I don't support the Iraqi government, but I want to help the people who live there.

MTV - So what is your answer?

Me - I'm not going to answer. The question is to general!



Another question that I thought was funny.

MTV - What is the most important issue that affects you today?

Me - I don't know. There are a lot of things going on in the world right now. I mean terrorism is thrown in your face all of the time, but I wouldn't say I'm very worried about it right now. I'm not sure.

MTV - Well for instance, most people seem to be saying peer pressure.

Me - If most people that you interview say peer pressure, then how can you honestly accept their ability to make their own decisions about the war? Wouldn't they just tell you what they thought you wanted to hear?

MTV - I don't know? The demographic is Americans age 14-24.

Me - OOOOOOOOK.

Darn.

All the news channels have been dropped from my satellite listings. Bell ExpressVU had been airing them free of charge but stopped yesterday.
