If Iraq had been a state sponsor of terrorism "HOW COME YOU CAN'T NAME ONE INSTANCE SINCE 1994 THAT THEY ARE SUSPECTED FOR?"

I mentioned Hezbollah because out side of Al-Qeda they are the worlds leading terrorist organization. They are financed and allied with Iran.
Hezbollah:
1992 bombed Israeli embassy in Buenos Aires
1994 bombed Jewish cultural center in Buenos Aires
1996 Four suicide bombings in Israel. Beginning of suicide bombing becoming commonplace
1995 Riyadh headquaters of US military
1996 Khobar towers in Saudi Arabia housing US personnel
1998 US embassies in Tanzania and Kenya
1983 Attack by bomb on Marines in Lebanon 241 deaths

Once again outside of Bush sr assassination attempt in 1993 there was no state sponsored terror by Iraq.
Saddam may have hated us but he was not motivated by the Caliphate plan of Al-qaeda.
The fact that people still seem to believe that Iraq was a major supporter of terrorism just shows that people have not looked into this. They have accepted the Presidnets innuendo as fact.

You know that I am on your side in most of this argument, but I find it highly unlikely that a Corporal in the USMC is the resident spokesman for the Marine Corps with respect to this find. Sounds to me like an early release breaking story where this guy was the first interviewed at the camp. I like to think that a comprehensive investigation went one, and a field grade officer (Major through Colonel) was interviewed as a follow up to the story. It's almost a year old, are there any follow-ups?

That's a valid question...and no, I haven't been able to find any follow-ups to that store yet.

Yes, there are/was breakdowns in what the intelligence community was saying about WMDs but nonetheless, we had to find out...and find out now. Not wait until something happens and then have some nimrod like Clarke write a book telling how they screwed up.
