connect the dv cam to the firewire, switch it on. Now go here and download dx9. Leave the camera on and connected during the entire process. Do not let the camera time out - have it play a tape.
I finally got it to work....and you're never gonna guess how i did it! I reinstalled Xp....thinking that some of the corrupted or missing files would be fixed...and voila...it worked. Thanks for all the help NooNoo....i appreciate it. Now I can finally capture my video....thanks a bunch
