I had to watch Shrek 2 with the kids last weekend, or they were going to make good on their threats to install Disney games and some of those lame "board-game-now-made-into-a-video-game" deals on my PC.
It was almost unbearable, knowing that this excellent flick was jsut a couple of feet away from where I was sitting...
Oh and BTW, I should probably post this in the gaming forum too, but if you've got an Xbox, definitely check out Chronicles of Riddick: Escape From Butcher Bay. It's a prequel to Pitch Black, and it explains how Riddick got his eyes tweaked.
Riddick related stuff aside, the game is one of the best I've ever played on Xbox or any system. Think 50% Halo, 50% Metal Gear Solid.
Ok Cobra does anyone say in the movie

From the sound of it during the movie, I thought his eyes were due to him being a Furian... at least that's how they made it sound. Plus Jack (now that she's all grown up), tells him that he's a liar for saying that he paid some doctor 20 menthol Kools to shine his eyes.
Yeah...I don't want to spoil anything about the movie or the game...but the eyeshine didn't happen as exactly the way Riddick explained it in Pitch Black.
Yeah...me, my best friend, and one GF each....any more for either of us and we'd be in serious pain. Besides, I have enough trouble affording ONE. I don't know how anyone gets by with more :pQuote:

Just got back from seeing it. Wow. That was a very cool movie.
If you love a good si-fi action movie, go see it. Do not wait for it to hit DVD as the fight sequences just won't look right on the smaller screen.
