Bush did the right thing. Saddam either had them or sure acted like he did. ( maybe he was misinformed and thought they had them ) Besides the cease-fire ( peace was never declared we were technically still at war ) with Iraq by UN decision was under certain conditions that Saddam contuously broke. The UN ( once again ) wimped out and said you better listen to us or we'll talk to you again.... the time for talk was over and we finished what we started way back when...

No, we went after him the first time to take him out of Kuwait, the very same reason why Bush the first never took out Saddam. We went in with a mission, and succeeded at it.

No, Bush senior always wanted to oust Saddam, it was under the UN Decision and pressure on the coalition to stop advancing following the liberation of Kuwait.
