Yeah, and how much OC you got? You also have a slightly faster cpu.Quote:

Damn, you got the core OC'd to almost what mine Ultra OC is at stock! Memory is slightly faster than what I have....Quote:

Not saying I dont have respect for overclockers, its just not something that I do. Dont want to fry a $600 graphics card for .03 FPS better. Also I hate the fact that everytime a program acts up the first thing I think of is the overclock, even though I know I am safely within the 10% overclock rule.
How does your system compare in 3dmark 03?
I pretty much feel the same way about over-clocking. Like you mentioned, it costs too much money for a good system to fry it. The only reason I am overclocking my video card is due to the fact the 6800 GT is designed to be overclocked. By using the “Detect Optimal Frequencies” option in the clock cycle section of nview’s control panel, along with the fact you must “Test Changes” before you can apply any changes, I am confident my card is not being pushed too hard.
The following registry key will enable nVidia’s clock cycle menu:
This is the first time running 3dmark 03:Code:
REGEDIT4
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\NVIDIA Corporation\Global\NVTweak]
"CoolBits"=dword:00000003
3DMark Score 12824 3DMarks
CPU Score 924.0 CPUMarks

How do you get that it was designed to be overclocked? The only card that I have seen to date that are designed to be OC'd (meaning it doesnt void warranty) is some of the ATI cards like my XT that already have, without any tweaks an "overdrive" box that ocs by like 20mhz if the temps are low enough.
I would use the Auto-OC if someone can show me where it does not void my warranty

If my vendor had them availible at the time I bought mine, I would have gotten the Ultra for myself as well. In the shop I now have two of each (6800GT and Ultra)- PNY (6800 Ultra, 6800 GT), eVGA (6800Ultra), & XFX (6800GT)

I like both, ati and nvidia, if i had the oppurtunity, i would much prefer 3dfx.
As would I, but the closest you can get to a 3dFX is nVidia.Quote:
