No, I live with guys that race and it is all I hear about. Give me a nice car that doesn't cost too much, let me get my regular maintenance and I will be happy.

I mean crap, I mention I have a Ford Mustang, and you will have people making fun of Ford, and fanboys hating the Mustang. This will go out, that is bad, this is bad, blah, blah, blah. All I ever hear. Funny, 120,000 miles and cam shaft is the only thing to actually break, cost me a couple hundred to fix. Mach stereo which is supposed to suck, still belting out my music. It is just a car, that thankfullly I own outright now that does its job, and I do mine by doing the regular maintenance and don't beat the crap out of it.

I understand and see your point completely. That is why I will stay away from the car sites and mainly hang out here. It is nice to have something different to talk about. :thumbs:

and what is the price of that new connie with all those features, oh wait, no longer made. we'll never know. I have yet to see anyone under the age of 50 driving a connie so I will not take back my grandma/grandpa remark :p

I can trick out a "ricer" with the money left over from not buying that connie, but why would I? It would just be investing more money in something that will never go up in value, a '02 tacoma will never be any more than an '02 tacoma. I'll take that additional cash and toss it at a motorcycle that even stock can do the 1/4 in the 9's off the show room floor and leave you in the dust on the track :) or just buy a BMW and ride fast and comfortably.
