Like I said,.. the backup singers screwed up, not Vince. They came in too early on Dr Feelgood. Like, an entire verse too early. That's why it got all screwed up. Girls, Girls, Girls was cool though.Quote:

OMG! I missed it
awwwwwwww
Personally,.. I think whoever was in charge of the soundboard should be shot. Nothing was EQed correctly, the volumes weren't set right,.. etc. Did the performers zero justice.Quote:

Well what happened was, Nikki was out of it after drinking a bottle of Jack for breakfast when he thought he saw the ghost of Christmas past telling him to get the band back together. In reality it was Mick's ghostly form telling him that Tommy was tapped out after the divorce and crappy solo project and Vince didn't want to be remembered for being on a stupid VH1 reality show.
Oh man,.. you guys are a tough crowd. First of all they are in their mid 40's not 50's. Heck,.. the Rolling Stones are still going and they are in their 90's. Second, I saw them on Jimmy Kimmel Live and they full on rocked with one of their new songs. It sounded great! Third, Vince, Nikki and Tommy have all be actively pursuing other musical endeavors all this time. It's not like they just sat on their azz for 7 years and forgot how to play their instruments. There were a combination of issues that happened at the video game awards. But so what,.. they're still the best imo.Quote:

I'm really not sure why he does that, but if you watch live at the House of Blues DVD "Lewd, Crued and Tattooed" you'll see he does the same thing there too. I mean,.. they have teleprompters and monitors to make sure that doesn't happen. It's just the way he does it live.
The main problem I see with them is that Mick can't move his head down to look at teh fret board. He's basically playing without looking the whole time. Even during solos. For him to be even up there,.. let along playing guitar is amazing to me. I think the smart thing to do would be for them to bring a second guitarist (Tracii Gunns?) on tour with them to help out Mick.
I think after a few shows the rust will fall off and they'll be back in full form.
he'll always have the porn tape with janina
LOL,.. that could very well be it. The ONLY discrepancy is that Nikki doesn't drink anymore.Quote:
