Britney isn't that interesting...pure and simple..just a talentless hack that got by on canned music and showing off her can. She's only popular because the teens can't tell the difference between pre-packaged nonsense and something with more style and substance. Glenn, your comparison of Britney Spears to Madonna is faulty in one aspect. While I agree that both have rocketed to ridiculous levels of fame and fortune by showing off their booty on national TV and acting controversial purely to get attention, and that both of them are artificial pop culture creations designed by marketers with the sole goal of selling records to people with no knowledge of music.
There is one major difference, however, and that is that Madonna actually has some musical talent.
