Sorry I haven't been around much in the last couple days. I woke up yesterday with blurry vision. Wasn't sure why and thought it would go away after a couple hours. It didn't. So I go to the doctor. While he examines my eyes, he discovers that I have some cholesterol plaque on one of the arteries of my right eyeball. He told me it's rare for someone my age to have that. He even took photos of my eyes with this really high-tech computer camera thing that displayed my eye ball in full 32 bit color on a large 19" lcd. It was great! But it was also an eye opener *so to speak*.
Doctor told me I need to quit smoking NOW! Nobody can prove it's the smoking or my bad diet or the combo of all of the above,.. but I'm not ruling anything out. When he told me to quit smoking,.. I said, "Ok". Then before the eye photo I went out,.. had my last smoke and called it quits.
It's now been 1 full day (over 24 hours) and so far I'm doing fine. Been a little fidgety and have had some cravings here and there,.. but all in all doing well and trying to get through the next two weeks of this quitting smoking process. So yesterday at the doctor all day,.. been up in Sac all day today at a Microsoft seminar,.. and now here I am.
Lets' review:
1> I have cholesterol plaque on the artery of my right eyeball
2> I have an appointment to go see an optometrist to get glasses
3> I have quit smoking and have been successful for over 24 hours now
4> I have to see a medical doctor to get blood work done
5> I have to learn how to eat healthy food
6> I probably will have to start excersizing
7> I think this has a lot to do with me being glued to the computer, barely making time for anything else, eating only snacks, drinking only coke, smoking and no excersize. And more so than ever in the last 6 months.
Nyway,.. a new Wrbby has been born. Right now, the new Wrbby is still a little weak to temptation and a bit fragile,.. but within the next few months a newer, better, stronger Wrbby will begin to evolve. I will still play CoH. But I can't play in the heavy doses that I have been playing because I have health risks now that I am aware of and I have to spend more time doing physical activity so that I don't get worse. Right now I honestly don't know how I am going to manage the time I spend on the computer vs the time I spend away from the computer,... but there has to be some adjustments made one way or another. Just wanted to let you guys know. Wish me luck. :)
