Finally figured out how to get the cat to be friendly, have a broken heater when the winter finally hits Houston(hey, we were actually in the 30's last night), she wouldn't leave my lap or side all night and morning.

Spent many years single , a few failed relationship's that hurt very badly , finally got 'lucky in love' , but went from that to very unlucky in money :sad: , lost a place that I basicly built .
Today I get up and Cable's off , (we just payed some on it) , I had left PC running d/ling a file so I go to shut off PC and just before it shuts-off the power goes off , now I know we paid Elec.bill , but I can't call anybody because the Phone is turned off (did pay it last night on-line , so it should be back on today) , I'm thinking great , no Cable - no Elec. - no phone , how more cr*ppy can a day start :rolleyes: . But about 20min's later power comes back on , so I turn TV and Cable box on , TV parts working , so start PC and see if have Internet , yup , it working , just have to wait on Phone now .
Don't why I'm writing this as I normally don't tell people my problems , but maybe somebody else will see that other folks in the world can have problems to , and that you do the best you can and hope it gets better . :thumbs:

Been there, done that Grandad!

I remember once I got a call at work from a local cable guy asking me if I had the funds to pay him before he headed out to my house for the shutoff order he had in his hand........I told him no and was really in the dumps cause the gas was scheduled to be shut off on this same day..........called home to tell the wife the bad news, and guess what??.........Yup, the phone was disconnected too!

When it rains, it pours..............things are better for us now though, that's when she was in school full time and we were living off of 1 income.
