hmmm... weirdest find. Definately has to be a quarter sack taped to a customer's HD. Asked him about it when he came to pick the machine up and he said he wanted to dry it out. He taped it to his HD and forgot about it for 2 years!! He was more worried about me calling the cops on him, so we talked about it outside the store as we were firing it up.

Well, I don't really have anything evenful that I've found, except LOADS of dust, etc. Although, when I was a student tech at my high school, one of the dumbass students decided to put a paper clip though the back of one of the computers...the thing completely fried the NIC and that horrible burnt PCB/electronics component smell permeated the room for the better part of a day. *gag, choke, cough*
To say the least, I was pissed.

I've had 3 chargers come in this week, all had some sort of "stuff" in them (yogurt?).
All 3 customers complained about the quality of our products.
Well, they usualy work when you don't dip them in yogury, or whatever they were dipped in.

I've not really had any major/memorable finds (mainly the overgrown dust bunnies, etc), but I have worked on systems that have had different beverages inside them. One example was a laptop I was asked to "see what I can do with it" by my boss, which the user said he had no clue why it wasn't working (at all). When I opened the sucker up, there was a thick layer of sticky soda pop coating the bottom and most of the underside of the mainboard. Upon reexamination of the outside of the case and the battery compartment, it was obvious that the guy tried cleaning off the laptop, before he sent it to us (with "no idea why it won't work").
Seen a lot of coffee on/inside systems as well. My boss loved that I could tell him how the customer liked their coffee (black or with cream, sweetened or not) :D
No, I didn't lick the coffee (I know someone would post something along those lines).....with cream it was light colored, sweetened is sticky where non sweetened is chalky....sheeesh

But I really haven't found anything super wierd inside of a computer yet spiders, bugs mice these are not that uncomon so there for not wierd.

Wierdest find inside a computer is about 200.00 in 5's and 1's. Don't know why anyone would hide money in a PC, but I know it never made it back in there.

My son is a bright lad, he is 3 and has mastered the windows gui, he can load and play games designed for a 6 year old and enjoys them. He even once refitted some ram for me correctly with out instructions from me. But there are some things he is yet to understand....
Cookies in a computer are not chocolate chip, and when the case to my pc is open, if there are no cookies in there, you should not put some in!
(I opened the case of my computer to add a card yesterday morning to find a chocolate chip cookie carefully placed on the bottom of the case not quite touching the motherboard.)
