I'll be ready this week....got my new computer built, (which doesn't matter cuz I'll still whoop your butt), got the download site from Taz for the updates, so possibly Thursday (8-9-01) nite or anytime after that I'll be ready to hand you your butt on my rail. :eek: The countdown begins....

There has been just a tad of a delay since I messed up our system Sunday. Anytime after Thursday should be good for me, I will let you know.

We could talk to Milenko and see if he could change the server he has up with UT on it and change it over to Q3....
Im looking at Q3 also....but since I inatalled the v1.29h update, Quake 3 is not liking my system...lloks like Sat. nite or later here. (Eastern time) Also, it would be great if we could get on Milenko's server, then we may be able to play 1 on 1.....or hold Windrivers tournaments...hmmmm :D :D :D

Try re-installing 1.27g on top. You'll keep the modified weapon effects, the added levels and (I think) the update feature but with the stability of 1.27g.
This worked for me on WinNT SP6a. I had sound card issues and had to revert from 1.29h Beta.

The one thing I noticed on the 1.29 point releases is this.... they have an "Uninstall" under your Remove Programs applet under the Control Panel. When you remove 1.29h, you may try installing 1.29g then it should work. If you uninstall 1.29h under the Remove Programs it will take out your Quake3.exe..... installing 1.29g will put it back on.
