Will things settle down soon here ?

I've been coming around WD probably longer than most here , either as lurker or member long before 2001 and a lot really hasn't changed except there doesn't seem to be many coming in for help anymore and I guess thats the problem , not enough to do so you start posting about other things and somebody my get thier toes steped on when no harm was meant .
The Lounge is just a place to b*llsh*t and pass the time and get to know others .
I'm noTech or such and what little I know was learned from here and other places and just jump in to a puter and see what makes it tick .
I guess what I'm trying to say is everyone here and comes here is important
because they either solve a problem make us laugh or give us something to think about .
To quote from a movie ( I think it was 'Martians are Attacking' or something or other ) ' Can't we all just get Along ' . lol

If I'm stepping out of line just say so and I'll go back to being a Silent Member .

Naw, Pappy, you are definitely NOT out of line. For me: it's great to hear an outspoken voice: someone not "afraid" of the "Gangs of WD".
You just keep sticking around and speaking your voice, and it WILL be heard.
And, to hear you say something about the "little" you know about PC's you learned here makes me proud of what I do, and I'll bet, many others here. It's almost like confirmation. And guess what: we ALL need a little of that every now and then...especially when you start having doubts about what you are doing, if you know what I mean.
And, as far as why WD does not have enought "tech" action, and too much lounge action, I guess it goes back to when this became a pay site. But guess what? That caused so many wounds, they still haven't healed completely, so I would advise we not go there. WE had nothing to do with that, and we could probably never understand, competelym why that decision was made in the first place. But one thing IS for sure: Someone started this site for the benefit of others, AND it is still here for the benefit of others, and the forums and chat are still free, and drivers are sooo easy to find anymore. So, the way I see it, we still are "gooderly" and care, and so many "hit" this site and take advice already given. AND: there is nothing wrong with that.

Hey Camaro80z , where does the '80z' come from ?
I bought a new Z28 in '86' had just the 305 w/4brrl. and 5 speed trans , trans didn't last long ;) I could out run the IROC's until about 130mph , liked the car when I could stay away from Mustangs and Vette's . :thumbs:

It comes from my fathers street car, which was my first race car. It is a 1980 camaro z28 t top car with a 560 hp 355. I never had to worry about vettes or mustangs! :thumbs:

I started using it as my internet alias when I was 13 or 14, and I have always kept it the same. No one else has ever used it, so it works.

We better stop talking about cars, otherwise Ya_Know will get mad at me! :devil:
