It very well could've happened.
Ehh what am I saying a home can be replaced.. I hope there Ok
Hopefully it's only power they lost. According to CNN approx 2 million people are without it. That's gonna take some time coming back to everyone!
This is what I'm really worried about:

And the fact that we haven't heard from our friends down there since yesterday. I hope they're ok.
Tampa was completely spared. We had worse weather today without a hurricane than we did yesterday. I believe Titchski was much closer than myself to the storm.
That's probably what MY house is going to look like on Monday. Stupid mobile homes.Quote:

As I mentioned in the vitally important footy thread, both Trip and myself are ok. He came round for a cup of tea yesterday and said "I really made the wrong decision about staying"
My power at home is still out, but work is ok now (typical!). Trip may well be without power for a while, so I'm going to see if he wants to stay with us for a while so he can actually get some work done.
As to damage, well, all I can say is, I am f---ing lucky. There are huge amounts of damage on Pine Island where Trip is and about 10 miles north of me also. Around here, pool cages and roofs have gone in some places and some windows have gone through. However, I only lost one shingle. As soon as I can, I'll post some pictures.
I'm off home now to continue the hurricane party!
Glad you came out relatively unscathed Titchski. Tell Trip glad he made it through too, but it sounds as though he got scathed somewhat.
Glad to hear you are both ok... Did Trip sustain any damage at his home?
New England barely got a scratch.
