Is the Web a "dark hole" for "lonely" people?

Folks lie all the time in real life, every god damned minute they are at it, with ommission or slight re-writes etc etc, most folks aren't honest with themselves, never mind everybody else ! Now let them loose online with a whole load more folks behaving this way & a whole load more who know folks behave this way & might play along for entertainment & what have you got ?

When did she ever say that all people on the internet had either a mental illness or were lonely?

Since I have been playing around online though, I have seen/read many of these people though, and now with Blogs everywhere, sweet jeebus they are coming out of the woodworks in an anonymous playground of their own creation

His inference to bricks and mortar seems to suggest that it is based on real life well fhooeee Judge it is but not i the sense you mean.
Life has all sorts of folk a proportion of which she sees in court day after day.The internet is built and based on human intellect and moral standards so why should it not shadow life honesty,crookery and all.Next you`ll be freeing car thieves cause they didnt get dinky toys at kindergarten :p

You have to admit that committing yourself to a life of celebacy is not a normal human function and could therefore be considered a mental issue.

It has been done by many religions and cults in many countries over the centuries and in many cultures hermits are considered wise men.
