Oh yeah, the capes - although I find little interest in getting one for a tech based AT - can be obtained by doing a "visiting" task given out at the Freedom Plaza office, or so someone was broadcasting this moring.

I'm growing weary of lower levels haveing been in them forever now. I'm sticking with playing Dynamo and Aumakua from now on in order to get them higher level. I'm eager to see some of the stuff beyond steel canyon so I'll be in Talos and Independance Port from now on after this weekend I guess.
I'm doing the Synapse TF tonight and prolly tomorrow to get to a higher level.

I will try and make it for TF. I'll have to take it minute by minute at this point.
Would be great if you could make it. ;)Quote:

- o Capes: Starting at level 20, characters can earn the right to wear a cape. Visit the City Representative in City Hall once you get to level 20 to start your quest.
They look good. Getting one for Aumakua's one costume (if it works like that) but not for Dynamo.
- o Effects: Starting at level 30, characters can earn the right to add constant
special effects to their character’s costumes.
This is gonna be so cool (I hope).
- · Power Re-specification:
o The Terra Volta reactor has been running beyond full capacity for quite some
time. Heroes who venture within it may experience untold side-effects.
Woot.
The "In Game" experience is also up for improvements:
- Exemplar/Aspirants: Higher level characters can now help out their lower-level friends easier than ever with this "reverse Sidekicking" feature. Exemplars artificially lower their level to that of the Aspirant. Exemplars will lose access to powers gained after the level they have been lowered to, and their Enhancements will have an appropriate reduction in effectiveness as well. Exemplars do not receive Influence, but 100% of XP received while acting as an Exemplar will go towards debt reduction. If there is no more debt to get rid of then XP will be earned as Influence instead.
- Teleportation Confirmation. You can optionally set up a prompt to appear when someone wants to teleport you.
- Resurrection Confirmation. Whenever you are rezzed you will be prompted to accept or decline the Resurrection.
- Sidekicking is no longer persistent (ends when one player logs off).
- Enhancements have a new window where they can be easily traded or deleted.
- Using the "Search" feature, you can now look for prospective team members across zones, sorted by Archetypes and Levels.
- Quick Trade. You can now quickly give an Inspiration or Enhancement to a team-mate or other player. Right click on the item you wish to trade and select Give.
- Many continuing sound effects now fade. (bubbles will no longer be loud? :p)
I like those two. :thumbs:Quote:

Thought you might. :DQuote:

Man, did you guys miss out on a cool party!
Here are some pics:
...
WHAT THE HELL?!?
Ok, I guess screen captures are not allowed on the test server...
It was pretty cool though.
Music (web stream was available too), dancing, special effects on 30+ toons and capes all around, pool tables, a bar, trip mine artwork... they even carded you at the entrance: you needed to display a badge to get in. :p
Bouncers and staff members took care of the guest list and ambiance.
It was cool.
This is the kind of party where you go to Steel Canyon to get in, and wind up in Talos Island when you leave. https://forums.windrivers.com/images.../2005/03/1.gif
Bummer about the pics though... even saw my first Rikti in Independance Port but I can't prove any of it. https://forums.windrivers.com/images.../2005/03/1.gif
Since I was too late for the TF you guys made,.. I just found a different one. Now I'm The Ultimate Unearthly Raining Blood. w00t! :D
Best TF Ever...
Only took 3 hours, few of us leveled but I got 2 SO's.
Also, how does one get to the test server?
EDIT: Ok, found it. Copy your character on line via their web page. Then, create a shortcut to the cohupdater.exe and add a -test in the target field under properties. Then run it and start a 829mb download. I'll be on sometime tonight after we go see a movie or 2 I guess. I miss my 3mb cable connection now...
I think Infinite Moon like me.
Too bad she was only online.
And 500 miles away.
And married.
And probably a guy.
Man, you really should consider a career in humour - at least part time. https://forums.windrivers.com/images.../2006/04/1.gifQuote:
