ok Taz, I tried out those ip adresses, and the 2nd and 3rd ones work fine, and it is of course using the maps I dislike the most. But thats ok....Im up for a little extra challenge, so pick a nite and we'll let Windrivers know and we'll rumble!!

We have been trying to get the details ironed out. I guess the idea would be to have a private server so us Windrivers people can join.
The first game (hopefully) Tuesday night will be between my wife and Fierce.
The next match could be me against Fierce (this Thursday and the last time I said something about Thursday it was anytime after Thursday). And since it has been Fierce and me and Morticia talking trash, those would be the first matches or two. Hopefully Fierce will be able to use one of his servers for this Quake 3 Excessive server.
Im thinking after the main event matches, we could all just go balls to the wall and let all Q3 Windrivers folks.
Well, I actually don't have any special servers that we can play 1 on 1 or excessive just for us, the ones I talked about earlier were ones I found to be pretty decent for game play. I'll do some searching tonite, and see what I come up with.
By the way Morticia....I am glad you have an optimistic attitude to the butt whooping you are about to receive Tuesday nite....man it must be nice to be upbeat about such a embarrasing moment in your Q3 career. I can see it now...well best of luck to you (I know you will need it...LOL!!!).

I did find an "excessive" DM server last night which was basically empty and had an acceptable ping rate (eastern Canada).
Tonight I will try again to see if it is available and PM anyone interested in joining me. Just leave a post here and I will reply.
I am on dialup and can't launch a Q3 server that would be adequate, but we could use available servers until someone here can set up something more "official". Any takers?

Actually I was just keeping it short and sweet while I was at work. Send me the IP for that Excessive server and we'll see if I can get something figured out tonight.
