I have only been in the US for 15 years and spent most of my time in Philly, yes some cities are nicer and the people are more friendly but Philly is my home and the people are the salt of the earth.
Best things about Jersey are
1) Great Adventure
2) New Jersey Turnpike
3) Jug Handles and trafic circles
4) A mall on every coner
5) 24 hour drinking at AC
I could list more but you get the point. It's between PA an NY and is Flanked by NYC and Philly, I am sure Jersey is a nice place to live but lets face it if you use the toll bridges you have to Pay to get into PA any fool can get into New jersey for free.

I'll get you some pics later -I'm in center city right now.
BTW - Post any pic of Camden and there will probably be something resembling a bomb crater. Or, perhaps you could show one of the many toxic waste sites in you beautiful state. :p

A note to all, if you want to know what the westback in Israle is like just go to Camden for the day. I know guys in north Philly who are scared to go into Camden after dark.

Yeah Camden is pretty bad. They are trying so hard to restore it but.............
And for someone in the Midwest downing the east for one thing that is easy to do not only far away but over a keyboard. I know a few people that lived in Texas but then they got real jobs and came east for real money. BTW-For run down they seem to like the east coast just fine.

There's a line in counting crows song round here which discribes philly to a tee,
"Round here we talk like lions but we sacrifice like lambs"

I'm not the one who started this with an unprovoked attack on NJ. I have nothing to prove, I'm just defending it now.
And, if you think those are the best that NJ has to offer, then you've never met Kevin Smith, gone to Red Bank, Cape May, Del Water Gap, gone to a convert in the arts center, Liberty Science Center, Statue of Liberty (and she IS in NJ), Liberty Park.
Would you like me to continue?
And as for the fools getting into NJ for free, its apparent they're trying to get aay from the other fools.

I once went to Camden by accident with an old GF (you know how easy it is to get trapped on that bridge by accident - is that the ben franlin bridge???). She got on the floor and freaked out when I started stopping for stop signs. At one point trying to get back to Philly she actually said "I don't want to die in Camden!". Personally I thought she was overreacting.
Oh, btw Batcho - there are some really nice parts of North Philly - it's just parts that are bad (just like anywhere). I know people who think nothing of walking at night in their neighborhoods and others who have had houses they own firebombed with illegal tenants (crackheads) living inside. So yeah there are some really bad parts.

Never, the south will rise again
j/k Actually, the brief visits I had in both states were rather nice. Not being from the area I actually have no viable input to the argument at all. Just trying to make my day go by, WHY WON'T THE CLOCK MOVE!!!
