Well to get back on track on the original subject I do agree with the assessment made by the Jags coach. I also think he'll get fined, but not suspended.
As an aside if any of ya are old enuff...the worse hit I ever saw was LT's hit on Joe Theismann, man was it gruesome to watch. Nothing illegal but just a massive hit. To LT's credit he was the up immediately signalling for help and not just standing there putting on some hot dog show.
I wasn't quite old enough to remember that paricular one I don't think,.. but I do remember the hits Ronnie Lott made. Now THAT is what football is all about (thanks for sharing the mems Major). One thing I do know,.. football is NOT about these drug abusing, street thug, millionaires, clothes lining each other. In HS I leveled the opponents kicker on the second ½ kickoff. I mean I knocked him off his feet 3' into the air and he landed right in the mud. Even the Referee was like Dayum. Luckily he was alright. Why do I say that. We were both recruited to the same Jr. College and became not only teammates, but roommates and then bestest of friends. :D
