WoW, Stuinn, such a simple solution for such a perplexing problem! I found my PSAPI.DLL in my SBC file, I just added a letter as you suggested, and instant cure! Thanks so much! ~Aubrie
Welcome to Windrivers Aubrie, glad this helped you.
Great Post - assuming popularity and driving traffic to WinDrivers resulting in a new user base. All of the new faces seem to showing up on this topic. I doubt this one gets a lock. ;)

You can Google for odd and unusual stuff and find archived WinDrivers stuff every day - nothing is 'locked' but bad posts as far as I know.
:)
I had the same issue and used this method. I had to rename 4 dll files before it worked. To find them all I used search with hidden files enabled.Quote:

Thanks to all for this Forum - After Installing IE7 I started having this error message like you all did. I did a search for "PSAPI.DLL" and changed all of them to "PSAPI.OLD" and this corrected the error messages.
Thanks!!! :mult:
Welcome to Windrivers traindisp - glad this thread helped.

Welcome to Windrivers fatchapyorkie... first of many posts I hope... how come a yorkie is in so'ton? :D
I was having the same problem, this time after installing the BT broadband help - which uses smartbridge's psapi.dll :p
Im about to use stuinn's method, after searching my computer i have found 8 however. As i know some of the programs i use have modified versions of PSAPI, ill only update ones in BT BROADBAND, and MOTIVE folders.
