going by your advice i sent my system to esys and now it is back and in device manager under sounds..etc, it is coming as winfast pvr 2000 wdm etc., which is properly installed, which means that it is winfast t.v tuner card, is that correct?? , Secondly, now i want to tell you that i am using mce to view t.v however picture quality is very bad and it is only picking up 20 channels for somereason. Do you have any suggestions?
Yes Winfast is a standard make.
Try retuning it, or checking your aerial?

Well there you go, you have an ASUS card with an HP part number!
So this came out of an HP computer... like this one This says update, but may be the whole driver. If you can tell me which HP it came from, I can get the exact driver.

cos I bought it with a guy who bring from china....
But i know it just come separately.not inside of the computer.
Well it is an HP part, if the HP drivers don't work, then it is possible the card is faulty.

What happens when you try and install the HP drivers?
you mean this one "sp34979.exe"?
after I install it display like this "Your system does not meet the minimum requiements for this update.Update has beem cancelled.(9995)
for this one "tv7131-1325.exe"
not things happen when i install it.
it still doesn't work.....
I also try this one"sp26598.exe"
after I install it display like this:
"Please press YES to proceed with the update."
after I press "YES" it display a massage like this:
"The update did not complete successfully.
Error Number:9"
I just got more information from the guy I bought the card,
He says he just buy the HP products separately from china for many parts differently.
And he just assambly them in cambodia. that what we called "clone computer" in cambodia.
I just bought the card from him.and he does't have the cd driver too...
