145 MB download started after my wife exited the game.

Issue #2 is not enabled yet, so don't get TOO excited. Shouldn't be much more than a couple weeks before it goes live though. :thumbs:

With Respec, you get to start out tabula rasa at level 1 with the same Origin, Archetype, Primary Power, and Secondary Power. You get to re-do all slots, and power pools. You get to put your Enhancements off to the side, and can sell them if need be. Haven't done the respec trial, but I've heard that it can be a b1tch.

Yes you do. Our mele attacks are all a part of our secondary power set and I'm going to use them for other secondary powers. You are stuck with 1 secondary mele attack but it never hurts to have one.

So when you mentioned getting rid of them you were referring to the redistribution of your slots, as Energy Melee (my case) or Manipulation (your case I believe) must reamain the same - gotcha. :cool:

Yup, cause I'm locked into them. I'm ditching bonecrusher for hasten or something else that amplifes my other powers.

Even after you exited the game? You gotta go all the way into the game,.. then quit. Once quit,.. it should start to autoload.

Says it is version 2.20040812.2, while test server indicates 3.20040903.0...


...OK, that's odd too. While opening up test server link, a 141Mb download started too.

...3.20040909.1 now.

guys...am i the only one who reads the instructions??? it says that it is downloading some patches for future updates, after game play, that way when the update is ready to go you won't have to wait forever to play . good stuff

Right right right. I did read that actually. This is happening EXACTLY as the first patch happened. I guess I just assumed everyone already knew what was up with that. This whole thing is just preparing us for when the actual launch date happens.
