Windrivers homepage contest??

Just saw this thread and haven't had time to read it yet but I will say that the front page will change slightly but only the layout. Most of the content will remain the same. So as far as a front page contest I wouldn't recommend it. We have a room full of guys that do development for us.
I have been very busy this week, learning all this new stuff, getting ready for the holidays, short week and all that. Slowly I will try improve the Home page's appearance. Please be patient with me. Thanks.

Yeah,.. that's pretty cool. I like sites like this one. Very clean, simple layout, yet full of good content.

Basically it's not even the content thats the problem. The content is great. It's the fact that everything runs down in one long strip all down the page. It wasn't like that before.

But if you guys are working on it, then I won't bother with anything. It just seems weird to see the homepage look like that. Especially for a computer website.

Hey now! Believe me,.. it's no loss for me. I got plenty to do anyway. It's just been like that for over a week now so I figured they might need some help fixing it. :cool:

Problem is, is that I'm a gearhead and not a webmaster, so it was all done in frontpage, which produces goofy non-standard HTML...but it got the job done for me...

Hehe. I'm still working on that one. :cool:

I like toms hardware guide at http://www.tomshardware.com/, always seems like an overloaded front page but it just works well for me.

The way you had it before was cool. But now it's all barfed as of a week or so ago. Not sure who did that (wasn't you was it? :eek: ),.. but it is what it is now. :D

I always liked Tommy's bookmarks, bloated goat was ok but they got a little too much going on last time I went. Was nevre really a fan of Persian kitty though
