Crap. OK, anyone plan on getting City of Villans when it comes out next decade or does anyone have interest in anything else?
As an FYI, I'm not loosing all interest and I'm staying for about 2 more months minimum unless all of us bail. I think that before all of us bail we should wait for issue #3 to come out and concentrate on ONLY out high level toons. I really want to get to lvl 50 and end the storylines before I bail.
BTW - on a good/bad note, my screaming HDD will probably cover for an RMA but until I get it replaced I'm short my gaming machine. :( Fortunatly newegg has WD 10,000RPM 8MB WD740GD on sale and since the GF was wondering what the heck to buy me (or more to the point - reimburse me for...). Yeah, I made the leap to 10,000rpm and it's shipping from NJ which is right next to PA so I hope to get this toot sweet. :devil:

Well, after a disasterous start, finally had a successful morning. Got asked to team Uun (then lvl 11) up w/ some lvl 6's and 8's for a mission - we go in, run into a lvl 10 or 11 boss. I ask for backup and the putzes leave me to take on the boss solo - just standing there going "go get him". Got defeated, used a res, got defeated again on my way to the door. Later much.
Get asked onto another team on a mission way in the NE of the hollows. Problem is they're already there and I have to get there solo. Got defeated twice just trying to get there before giving up.
Teamed up to fight council in steel canyon and got defeated again. So i've been defeated 5x, racked up a ton of debt, and still haven't leveled.
Finally sk'ed on a task force w/ some lvl 14-16's and got through two kick *** missions. Good crew - don't have the names w/ me but I will post later. Lvled up to 12, worked off all the debt, and picked up the temp invul power - which was really handy on the 2nd mission against lvl 14-16 thorns.
BTW, I've also created a new toon, Night Window, currently a lvl 4 blaster. He's greatly in need of some inf, so keep him in mind when the charity fest starts.
little trick for hollows travelling hudson...when going in far, take the long way by following the south wall all the way to the red river. take the streets there, lv5-11 inclusively if i remember right. then take the river down to as close as you can, it is empty, no villains, no buildings, no spawns, etc. this trick saved my butt on many occasions, and it isn't that far considering that normally you would die, so you'd have to do the travelling all over again.Quote:

We can SK your toon to someone about 6 to 8 levels lower than one of our high levels and get him out of debt pretty quick and get you leveled pretty fast. Trust me when I say we all feel your pain. I've actually taken to avoiding teaming up with people that I don't know for the most part unless I chat with them for a second or two first. As a side note, put all of our toons in your friends list and get us to SK you with our high level guys.

Also, AUM is now lvl 37 and finally able to get decent (lvl 40) enhancements. I.E. my powers work properly again. Mmmmmm, green enhancements...

Cass is 37 also now and needs help finishing up 2 Envoy of Shadows missions. Sucker is impervious to fire and has auto-hit defense to anything within melee range.
Stalemate (halfway to 35) has been respec'd for I3 and is pretty much as he was before the "fix". I haven't had to do extensive testing with psionic wielders or stacking mezzes, but so for it'S been quite good. I think Ajani and Serilda had a lot of fun watching the herding in Brickstown las Friday night. Oh yeah - I3 dooesn't stop him from herding +3,4 at all, which could still useful in some circumstances. :cool:
