If you only have one partition on the main drive you will have a floppy drive A:, a hard drive C: and your cd/dvd E:.
If you have more than that, please say so.
Otherwise, you look like you are at the basics.
In which case, plug the external into a USB 2.0 port and what happens?
umm it still jsut shows 1 drive the c drive :( i uploaded a pic, srry i really gtg plz hlp me again later

My mistake - you will show the cd/dvd as D: if you have no other hard drive - so what is E: ?
edit(your 'image' isn't fully scrolled down)
drive e: is the external 1, i dont know why it chose the letter e... :P lol but thats what its supposed to be

E: said 0/0 bytes...
Could be a bad usb stick.
Dduhden can you plug in your external drive to the power and then plug it into usb and tell us what Windows does... does it react at all? Wait a few minutes and then look in disk management again, has another drive appeared? Post a pic if there is another drive shown please.
dduhden ; Noo Noo us talking about your external having a separate power cable and adapter and using it.
Did it come with one?
i did it but now its giving me the same problems as beforehaha :P i uploaded some pics to show
