Official WD City of Heroes Thread

Cool, I'll be on but off by 10pm est as I get to be at work tomorrow for an emergency server move at 6am. Yay!! Gawd the people I work for are retards.

I'm going to "try" to get on this evening also.

I thought we might be doing suits though - is this the case?

Sorry guys. Didn't make it tonight. I have another machine plugged in, being set up where my machine usually sits (time for me to get a KVM switch I guess). My poor P4 is sitting over there in the corner while I work on this other P3. Meanwhile I am doing all my other business on my trusty laptop. Anyway,.. I should be on again soon (I'm shootin for maybe tomorrow, but definitely Saturday morning). In the meantime, you guys should take this opportunity to lvl up as quickly as possible. :thumbs:

If I'm on tonight it'll be late. I'm thinking that we might want to do some higher level folks so we can cathch up to webbys RB toon. I know most of us are itching for the terra volta respec trial.

But, I'll pull out whatever toon to match what you are playing.

I could use a hand with my cape mission. I don't want the cape, but I've failed it twice and it's really starting to mock me.

Also like to add that if you see a shirtless fellow wearing brown camo pants called "The Nuge", that's probably me. :D

Did the Terra Volta Respec trial last night with my SG mates. What a blast! :thumbs:

Recommendations:

Bring a bubble defender, they can protect the reactor quite well.

Bring a healer, you will need them.

Bring some melee types, preferably 2-3 of tankers and/or scrappers.

Apparently, once you reach the curving hallway with the proxy bombs, you have 15 minutes to get to the reactor, otherwise the baddies will show up without you.

Try to keep the level spread to a minimum, or make sure you have enough higher level toons to SK the lower levels.

Make sure you have some damage dealers, as you need to take enemies down somewhat quickly. Some spawns were 3 levels higher than our biggest, so be ready for a marathon, especially in the reactor room.

btw, Bomb Jack (lv16) is now looking for an SG. he's a kin/rad defender, pool powers: tp ally,foe,self. medicine:heal other.

2 healing powers on this one, and he's yours for nothin'! (well, almost nothin')

Yeah,... and most important, be on a team that is organized and uses strategy. I did this a week or so ago and the team seemed like they were trying to do the right thing,.. but they were so unorganized and had very little communication. As a result, people died often. At one point,.. I was the only one alive, run, blast, run, blast, and kept doing that until the others had a chance to rev and rest. I barely made it. We did not finish the mission. That was hell. I can't wait until PoW gets up to around lvl 24ish or so, so that we can do this. It's almost time. :)

Almost to 23 chief.

Forgot to add that our only defeat was a scrapper that got too close to a Proxy bomb. She went down again when she tried to rez in the middle of combat. Other than that, we rocked the house. :)
