it came out around the same time as another cartoon, TURBO TEEN: about a kid who could turn back & forth into a Trans Am Depending on how hot got: he got hot turned into a car, he got cold he turned back into a person.
Also there was POLE POSITION, 2 race Cars with AI, one looked like a Mustang, had a driver named Tess
I will go along with Greatest American Hero as well. He was a fun super klutz. Buck Rodgers, I think, was '70s but watched in the '80s. Who's the Boss ( I loved to watch Alissa Mylano even then.... Yeooooow!!!)
A Team and Alf!!! They RULE!!!
I grew up in the 60's and 70's. My favorite show in the 80's was Elvira-Mistress of the Dark.
Hmmm, didnt watch any TV in the 80s - and if i did, i definetly cant remember any shows..... :D
Burn.
Couldnt have said it better. Might add Air Wolf and ALF.Quote:

:) :)
That show about the guy who was a computer
I believe that was Max Headroom. Turning that on was one way to get me to leave the room. Some one mentioned V. A good show but short lived. I forgot about Hardcastle and McCormick The cayote was BAD. And yes McGyver was cool. There was another show about a guy that inherited a Harley and ran all over the US getting in trouble. Wow another stroll down memory lane. :) :(
My favorite was speed racer. You know I not only think that the professor was tagging maryann and ginger but the the skipper was tagging gilligan that is why he was always messing up, and the skipper was always on edge. {I did like to watch Gilligans Island}along with pretty much all the other posts. https://forums.windrivers.com/
Robotech, Transformers, Star Blazers, G.I. Joe, Mork and Mindy, Cheers, Barney Miller, Loved them all! :p
I grew up without a TV. My family got our first TV in '87 when my mom remarried, then I watched all the re-runs of the shows when I could...Now I am a totla TV junkie...my wife constantly tells me TV isnt good for the kids but bugger her right? Now I hate to admit it but my favs are Buffy, Boston Public, and the ever mighty Simpsons (Homer is my hero)
Benny Hill is a Classic. I just orderd all his tapes that are now available. He is a true Jewel
Let's see: Cartoons:
GI Joe, Transformers, He-Man, Centurions, Voltron, Smurfs, D&D, ThunderCats, and yes even Gummie Bears.
Real: A-Team, 6 million $ man, Fall Guy, FOL, V, LA Law, Cosby, Cheers, Growing Pains, Air Wolf, Knight Rider, Dr. Who (reruns), and I freakin' loved Dallas.
Does anybody remember: Misfits of Science, The Master (kung-fu related), Silver Hawks (cartoon), and Real People?
dude Knight Rider and Air Wolf and A-Team and McGyver
was cool too he would make stufff from nothing but his little swit army knife.
and the air Wolf helacoptor was the best, when those missle came down from underneath and always blew up the things where were better then it =)
and KIT from knight rider, who could forget Mr. Baywatch himself David Hasalhof
and the A-Team with Mr.T I PITTY THE FOOL
The show I loved to watch was "MacGyver" with Richard Dean Anderson, now seen in the TV series called "Stargate SG1".
MacGyver rocked! He could build some really cool stuff out of common household things. I wouldn't doubt it if he could build a nuclear reactor out of toothpaste, dental floss, toothpicks, a paperclip, and a foil gum wrapper (isn't that what a Macintosh is made of???).
Anyway, overall, the 80's were pretty good. The hair was weird, DeEvo was all too weird, and I really liked Haley's Comet. Taco Bell was awesome because they sold the original version of the Enchirito with soured cream and olives. Does anyone remember the Chevrolet Chevette? ;)
