Official WD City of Heroes Thread

I'm on Wednesday night. Definitely up for a trial, but not if there is a chance that debt might be incurred. I hear the Terra Volta Respec Trial is rather difficult. I'm unsure if I can attract enough aggro just with Invincibility. Was getting Provoke or Taunt at next level...

Any other time is going to be difficult at best.


Tonight, if inept doesn't leave too late after dinner, I might have a chance. My wife says kicking him out early would be rude, so don't suggest it. :p


For me, next week is going to be CoH Extreme Week, being able to play almost every single evening. I'm hoping to get Stalemate to 27 then. He's nearing 24 now, if I recall correctly.

1> To get the mission we must meet in IP. I forget the exact location,.. but it's west and it's the only location in that area. You can't miss it. It's north of TV, but towards teh west.

2> I like the idea of at least trying the mission. I mean, it's not as big of a deal as we've been making it out to be. It takes around an hour give or take. If you finish it, you can respec. You can also do the trial again if you want to respec again.

3> I'm down for doing the trial whenever,.. but wednesday is the final debate and I kinda wanted to watch that. So I won't be available for it then. But depending on the level of interest, perhaps I could just catch the second showing on CSPAN, so we'll see.

Actually,.. based on this,.. maybe we could plan on doing respec, say next Monday? By that time everyone should be at lvl 27, the debates will be over and we can all put our full focus into it. Hmm,.. makes sense to me. :D

I'm on tonight after 10 until 12 or so I guess.

Maybe I didn't make myself clear on the current status of Stalemate.

Next week will most probably be the time I can get him to 27, thereby opening up level 30 SOs to make him effective with Invincibility and Taunt slotted properly.

There is no way he can be at level 27 this week if I only play him once tomorrow night - even if I ask to be SK'd to level 45+ toons for those "box frags" which garner mucho XP. If he participates in the TV Ttrial right after 24, he might be of good use as long as I pick Taunt next and slap an SO on it for now.

I feel bad about holding you guys back like this. :(


If I was a gentleman, I'd say go ahead and do it without me, but Stalemate really needs to be respec'd. :p

And maybe I didn't make MYSELF clear! :p

We will wait (or at least I will). But we've gotta do this sometime next week for sure. So in the meantime, let's all pitch in and help Stalemate get lvled as quickly as possible so we can go do this.

And on a sidenote: I will be on tonight,.. but probably not until late. Since it's my b-day, there is a higher than normal chance that I will have to have a social life tonight. I know it seems very odd,.. but it could happen. You'll see. :p

ill wait till whenever everyone is ready...i was looking forward to doing this as a SG. call me sentimental but ...lol. for whatever its worth, ill be exemped to any1 who deires to get going faster. as for stale, if we leave him visible...maybe it can be enough for him to aggro. u can be sked in the trial right?

Wait until 24 (strict minimum) or wait until 27 (most effective)? :D

Yeppers, but at least be level 24 to be admissible into the TF.

next wednesday(not tomorrow) would be best for me as my monday night is booked right now, but if a mafority want monday, i will shift things around

I think we should leave it until the following week, Oct. 24 and onwards, if we want to make sure to implicate as many SG members as we can.

Hence my reasons for suggesting level 27 to take this on at the earliest.

+2, +3 Stalemate will have no problems facing, but blasters are in definite danger.

Also, without the possibility of properly taunting and pulling aggro, the reactor is a very hard thing to protect.

Stalemate will be on tonight, at about 7:30 EDT.

Don't be scared kids. This TF will be no prob. :cool:

Just be sure to stock up on awakens mainly. Also, we will need a healer.
