A healer is good to have, but what you REALLY want is a Force Field Defender. They make protecting the reactor a LOT easier. A Controller with FF secondary works too.

The Terra Volta TF is simple:

1. arrest 20? Sky Raiders in TV

2. Door mission, usually in Kings Row. Can use the stealth/TP method to do a decapitation strike.

3. Go to the reactor, and smash your way through. Get rid of all enemies, as you need to acquire keys to access the reactor. Once you have entered the curving hallway outside the reactor, you have 15 minutes to reach the reactor room before the Sky Raiders start attacking. Don't move too fast, as there are a few proximity bombs placed around the area. Have someone use a sniper attack to destroy them.

4. Protect the reactor. Make sure to grab a coolant belt (heals the damage to the reactor). Also get your radiation protection field, as you will take minor DoT while in the reactor without it. You need to protect it for 30 minutes I believe. If you have a FF Defender (or Controller), make sure that they throw their force fields on the reactor itself.

Oh, and Adept, consider getting Provoke from the Presence power pool instead of Taunt. It works just as well, plus it is an AOE Taunt instead of a single target. :thumbs:

In point 4, I believe there are 10 waves of Raiders to confront.

We'll find out tonight if I'll be available on Monday. :D

Why wouldn't I be? I think a lot of the problem was on my end. I'm gonna power cycle my cable modem and see if that clears things up.

I read not to use the "coolant" to heal the reactor until it is needed. I'll be sure to bubble the sucker good and keep the dispursion bubble up on it so try to stay near me and watch where you are in relation to that for max protection. I'm gonna need to lay off the fire rings a bit to conserve energy I guess.

Glad to know you'll be onboard for the respec. I think we can definitely benefit from your tactical expertise on this one. I've been reading up, but I'm seriously thinking about creating a cheat sheet for us to use because of all of the details to keep in mind during the missino.

Stalemate will be fun again once respec is done, but I sure learned from the experience though. EvilGrimace and Fracas (and some future yet un-named controller) don't have to suffer as badly.
