Good Morning All,
I am usually not one to complain about things given to me for free, especially as Scott obviously works very hard to keep these forums the quality they are. The new Forum style looks great, but the blurry shadow effect on the sidebar, though making nice eyecandy is VERY hard to read, especially on my screen (TFT).
I was wondering what anyone else thought about this new look, and if anyone else feels it should be altered.

Burn, it is not intended. I dug into the HTML code and they put in a DHTML effect, but they misspelled the strength part (They spelled it strenght) so it isn't showing up as 1, and instead defaults to a much higher value.
I think they already know about this problem and they're working on it.
I have emailed Scott about it and he will have a look when he has time to.
I had a little fiddle, and i found that if the color is set to 7F7F7F (Half Black) instead of black, it looks great!Quote:

I found a workaround, Hold the left mouse button and sweep the cursor across the text you are trying to read as though you were trying to select it. The rest of the new format looks great, very clean. <IMG SRC="smilies/wink.gif" border="0">
It works, but something must be done.

Guys it is not a Bug - It is an Undocumented Feature...
You should Mark with the Mouse the Text to be read...
