Eminem - The Eminem Show, 100%

WOW, I'm truly amazed at Em's new album The Eminem Show. It's just as good if not better then his last. Fat beats, raw lyrics....WOW! I thought he lost everything on the D4 project. I'm very impressed and am now a very assured Eminem fan. This guy will be around for awhile. I don't like allot of Hip Hop/Rap but I do like Dr. Dre, Snoop, Jay Z, LL Cool J and a few other's. My favorite music is Rock (please exclude Nickleback, Default, Puddle of Mud). I think you need to have an open mind to really listen to and enjoy music.

Wow, I cannot wait to get off work and go cruising listening to the new Em.

Personally, I don't find anything good or redeeming in his music. He relies on shock tactics to get attention. MHO.

I forgot to mention - I couldn't care less for Eminem's music either.

Never been a big fan of rap (unless you slap some metal in there with it), but I can't shake the feeling that I'm listening to Chris Tucker when his songs come up. "Fast and whiny".

I can't open my mind bog enough for this guy to fit in there, sorry.

But I have to admit he's got a way with the media. :rolleyes:

What difference does it make if anyone likes his music or not? There is a lot of shock value in his stuff and it makes him a BIG PILE of money. There is no deep meaning to any of his lyrics. There are no memorable melodies in his songs. It has ZERO musical value whatsoever.

I am not knocking those who listen to him. If you want to numb your mind with that crap, knock yourself out.

I personally enjoy good opera and good blues.

But I can understand a persons passion for their own musical taste and can respect it. I hate when people judge an artist by what they hear on the radio or in the media. It's passing judgment on people you don't really even know. For instance, I remember the first album Em did. It was okay but not as good as the next. I couldn't stand his radio friendly songs until I flipped to MTV and saw "Stan" for the first time. If that song doesn't make you think twice, then your not hearing the music. If your all about the beat and trendyness(sp?) of music then you have no right to judge unless you hear the lyrics. Remember when Em caused that big stir at the MTV Music Video Awards? It was about him using words like "Fag", "Queer", etc... it caused a big controversy with the gay organizations. They thought because he was using the gay slang that it meant he was discriminating against gays for the public to here, and the public was buying it. How can you judge an artist by what you hear on the radio. Before you bash and criticize an artist you should first listen to all their music.
